We have been really wondering...

Just wanted to throw something out for everyone's opinion. Tami and I have been really thinking hard in what we want for a computer. It is going to be a laptop for sure because if I am going to be going back in to ministry we need something that is going to be portable. And the size of the screen does not matter if it is one of the bigger ones. We do not want a 13 inch monitor on a notebook. That is just a little bit too small. This is what we are hung up on. Mac or PC. We know that Mac is going to be a little bit or should I say a lot more money then the regular PC but I know the advantages to the Mac. I can see many uses for the Mac in the ministry with using the recording capabilities that automatically come with the Mac computers. And they seem to be really easy to use and do certain functions. But with the normal PC and with Microsoft monopolizing the market I will not have fight some compatability issues even though some are no big deal. What do you guys think. Mac or PC?

Take a look

http://matt-palmer.blogspot.com/ Just wanted to let everyone about this page. These are just my thoughts and my little plan to keep me spurred on in my Christian journey. Enjoy. I will appreciate any comments as well if you want to share.

An Update to all who want to KNOW!!!

Well, guess people have been asking Tami how things went at Truro with my candidating. The trip down was ok. It always seems to be long after Moncton but we got there. I like the good sized town of Truro because it reminds be of Sussex as you drive in with all of the pastures and the grazing cattle. It makes me think that this town was built on hard work because I know the hard work it takes to keep a farm going and have it successful. My late grandfather was a dairy farmer and I saw the long days that were put in especially in the summer time with all of the hay, straw, and grain that had to be harvested to keep the cattle fed.
The church was really friendly. It was a little overwhelming at times with all of the people flooding in to meet Tami and I. Pastor Ken said that this was the biggest crowd that they had out in a long time so it seems that the congregation maybe rather excited to see a new prospect of a youth pastor filling at the church. I was rather impressed with the teenagers at the church as well. There were not many but the ones there were rather committed so it seems that they have the core teens needed to build a youth group and reach the children and teenagers in the area. The teenagers in the church even were very friendly and they were very excited and anxious to meet me. They made the first step to come up and introduce themselves. Central Nova Wesleyan felt kind of like a small church but a church that is willing to step forward to grow. The board has realized that they need to push forward to see this church go anywhere.
I will know more around the 15th of October if I will be going there. They are waiting to see if they can raise the second year's salary. Tami and I will see if this is the place to be. We will continue to be in prayer and please, everyone that is reading this please be in prayer for us as well.

What Name do you like best?
